Not quite sure I understand. A panto goes from one side of the quilt to the other and is basically an all-over design. It really does not need to fit inside your blocks, especially as the blocks sort of overlap each other. I looked at the panto and it appears to me that all of the stitching lines are well within 4" of each other, so I wouldn't be concerned about stitching distance for the batting. The panto lines nest within one another, creating the all-over effect.
