I have also changed the sashing fabric from 1.5" to 2" as the squares are bigger. I am using a sunny yellow fabric as I don't want to use up my white on whites as I need them so much for other quilts that I have in the pipeline, what is your opinions ladies?
I love your idea. I also have a stash of small pieces of fabric. Thank you for referring me to Bonnie's Dancing Nine pattern. I hope to start on her Alletaire quilt as soon as my sewing area is set up. I also have a large amount of yellow fabric that I might use as quilt backing.
