Mary those are sweet quilting bees.
Teresa that is great for your kitty.
Thanks Lynnie for the kitty facts. Now I know why years ago when I was in my twenties, I had a orange kitty I named Henrietta, but ended up having to change that to Henry. lol.. He was so so cute, and lovable.
Lynnie, what are white cats usually? We miss our big white cat Charlie.
I also would have no problem adopting a blind kitty or doggie. We miss terribly our dog Buddy who passed away before Christmas. He was blind, and he went everywhere the others did. We showered him with all our love. He was a Cardigan Corgie Mix, but mostly Cardigan Corgie with his short legs. He was the best little man. We now have our Matilda (mostly Australian Shepard), Lil'Anne (mostly Golden Retriever, and very chatty), and our little Bonnie (mostly Yorkie), and the attitude to go with it. She is my shadow.
I think with the hexagons you can do so much with them, including like others said about even making table toppers etc. I like being able to work on them sitting in my easy chair. lol... I finished one last night doing some pretty embroidery on it for a friend to be sent off.
I did try out my first of the pretty pattern I found the other day (not a hexie). It is so pretty, and I am going with it for my partner on here. I am now deciding whether to use it for all of them or a variation of the theme it sets.
Have a great day everyone, and can't wait to see more coasters. This is so much fun.
