tlambling -- what a pretty kitty. I've always loved black cats (don't tell Arthur ... who is my avatar). So glad he's not itchy anymore. Our dog Jack was put on steroids etc. for the very same thing. Nothing seemed to help. We discovered quite by accident, when we changed groomers, that the previous one was using harsh shampoo for humans on him. The new one uses what I thought the first one was using.
