I agree with the idea of using Misty Fuse and another layer of muslin, but I would be careful to use a very light-weight muslin. You don't want to have too much weight. I've also done these for my clients with just the stabilizer and no muslin, and they have turned out fine. A lot depends on how you will be quilting it. If you plan to have a lot of background quilting in that area to keep it very stable, you should be fine. I like to finish quilts so my clients can use them, not just look at them, so I try to keep everything very soft --- and still machine-washable. Can't wait to see this when you are done!
