I hang a flannel sheet on one wall of my sewing room with push pins. Also you can use the back of a cheap flannel backed table cloth. Either one could be taken down and stored easily. Mine stay up all the time - could not put a quilt together without it! Sure don't need to spend a lot of money to get this done.
