We all start somewhere. We do this swap in the SPIRIT of friendship. We know and accept this might be the first swap you have ever participated in and it might be the first time you have shared a block with someone outside of your household. Your eyesight might not be the best anymore but you still want to swap. You might have issues cutting or sewing but know your heart and soul needs this time or you'll just burst. For this we are honored to accept your blocks.
You don't have to feel any pressure to make some fancy dancy paper pieced 900 point star (mmmm at least not this time
). Please make a block you would be proud to have made for you. I'm just as thrilled to get a churndash block that is chock full of 1/4" seams laying nice and neat as I am to get a more advanced block.
If your comfort level is a 9 patch or a friendship star or heck some English paper piecing concoction , go for it and own it! We're here to have fun and to share our quilty nuttiness.
