I highly recommend Carol Doak classes for learning to paper piecing. After you learn how then you can explore some of the other ( techniques) like the freezer paper method, but learning the basics first helps immensely. Carol Doak is a great teacher and offers a couple classes on craftsy. She also has a very active group on her site and has free quilt projects/ patterns going all the time
