I use nothing but spray basting and have never had a problem with residue on my needle. I usually let it dry over night also. I also never get on the floor to baste, tried that once or twice using pins and will never do that again. Too hard working on the floor and getting up again Not to easy getting down on the floor either anymore. I hang my layers on wall board insulation and it works beautifully!
