Good suggestions so far...I have made one and once I figured out the directions it went together pretty easy...I did use the 10 degree wedge and had to adjust the pattern for the difference so that could be why it took me more time to work it out.
quiltingshortimer suggested making it wider but this would involve a lot of math...I don't think I would try it.
elageo had my first idea to make 2 or three and come up with a decorative way to attach the points together
AZ Jane had a great idea to contact the pattern designer...you never know they may have addressed this before.
