It is so pale and colorless. I plan to cut it up and just use the center deer, adding blocks and borders. My issue is with the deer itself. How do you think I could add color to it? I thought about fabric paint or fabric markers but have never used either of them.
It's not easy finding Bambi themed fabric. I found a couple on ebay but wasn't really impressed.
I would greatly appreciate any ideas.

I just finished a baby quilt with a center panel using curved log cabin. I actually had enough blocks to make two quilts. Here they are. The first one is for the baby shower on Sunday. Maybe you will be able to use my idea.
