Thanks guys! Good information. My pattern was saying to choose black or I'd never have given it a second thought! I would imagine showing through or pokies would happen on the back right? I haven't chosen the backing yet but generally go for a pattern of some sort to hide my newbie boo-boo's in the quilting part.
