I do the same with a queen size bed. I like my quilts to come down on the side and bottom. I use quilts every where in my house. On tables, across couches, on top of sewing machines, large one hung above my couch, across antique cabinets and across chairs. I love quilts as it makes my house feel nice and homey. I change out the quilt on my dining room table for different ones depending on the season and my mood. Sometimes table runs and place mats but I usually always go back to my quilts.
