I use my quilts on our beds all the time. Everyone in my immediate family ( grown kids, siblings, & my Dad) has one of my quilts on there beds too. Twin to king size. Also I make them for the wall, table or wherever I want one. Everyone loves them. I always make them to hang down at least 15" (or a little more depending on the mattress thickness) on each side & bottom & always long enough for a pillow tuck. I think all of us that have quilting in our blood is the same. You see a pattern you love, you make it & then decide what you are going to do with it. Use it, gift it or display it!
