I agree with PaperPrincess. This is my absolutely favourite way to make bias binding. For this method you use the whole WOF (width of fabric) and there is no waste as you don't have to cut a square first. I usually use 28" of fabric which will yield about 460" of 2.5 inch binding. She has excellent diagrams in her written instructions and if you follow all of the steps (including marking the seam allowance and numbering your lines) you will have perfect results. I can now make enough binding in an hour (marked, cut and pressed) for a King sized quilt!
