You are so correct that treadles don't grow on trees out here in Southern California. I bought mine in the 70s at the antique store that moved into part of the old Helms bakery in Venice,CA. I bought mine for $129 but didn't notice it was missing the "v" shape drop drawer. Actually pieced my first quilt on my Singer treadle. It came with a lot of accessories and the original owner manual.
