Jeanne that bookcase looks fantastic!

Here's mine. Lap sized, I used some of a free paper-piecing pattern from Craftsy.com called The Project of Doom. As you can see, it's Harry Potter themed. I selected about half of the offered blocks to make this. The other blocks available are mostly books. You could leave out the HP themed bits and use the remaining blocks to do a books-only quilt instead.
