Thanks for all the responses. I haven't felt great the last couple of days so I haven't tried to work with the photos again. I am going to conquer that tho. I so agree that the silicone spray sounded like - give me your cash. It is hard to find a place to even get a machine serviced and then it is NOT reasonable. The cheapest place within 30 miles of me costs $200. The other place is even more expensive and they want you to buy a longarm everytime you pass thru the door. It is a good thing that the old machines are such that one can do many things for them to keep them in shape. I have managed to do most things by just reading here about the 301 that I have. I so appreciate the knowledge y'all have but even more that you are so willing to share it.

Im still in the middle of TLC with my Singer 347. Been doing homework when I get free time. Looking at getting a bottle of Try-Flow 2oz and parts from singeronline.com If you good with leather, make your own treadle belt.
