check out Leah Day's website--she has a wood grain that is pretty easy to do after a little practice on the DSM--it would look so cool on the window frames and then meander on the border (or straight lines or lines with a little wiggle--more just a fluid curve). As far as the window pictures, what about a tighter meander just in the area that looks like sunlight/fog and leave the tree trunks/limbs and green parts mostly unquilted--that way it would pop. Great job on the quilt. Be sure to post picture once it's quilted.
