Pfaff's are great machines. I would make sure that it worked properly, would most likely need to be serviced.
I have a Quilter's Expression 4.2 and a Passport 2.0, both machines have the IDT: AKA built-in-walking foot. You can leave the embroidery unit off and still quilt with it.
I used to sell new Husqvarna Viking machines and have quilted with the embroidery machines, the Designer Diamond and Topaz machines.
