Hi, I know that this search is probably going to be a difficult one, but I hope someone knows where I could look for this lovely pattern.

During the decluttering of boxes that have never seen the light of day in years to make room for my quilting stash, I've come across a very battered McCall's Country Quilting magazine from 1980 which I had totally forgotten about.
On the back cover is a photo of an absolutely beautiful applique quilt called "Festival Poppy Orientale quilt" by Jeanne Hutchinson, which she got a well deserved Blue Ribbon for.
The pattern is nine large blocks with the applique Rose similar to a Ohio Rose. The background is white or ecru, with pink/salmon triangles surrounding each block. The swags are green with rose buds on each with pink/salmon edging.

From the look of the quilt it seems like a Queen (not sure) and is part of an advert for batting. Although I'm making some machine quilts at the moment, I love doing applique and would love to be sewing this one in my quieter moments.

If anyone knows, or has an idea of what I'm waffling about and how I could locate a pattern, please could you post a link.

Thanks in advance
Joanne
