I use those bobbin saver rings, which I love. They come in 3 different colors; I have 4. Each one is dedicated to one machine. The great thing is, the bobbins don't fall out -- ever!
I think Tartan's system would be a good alternative.
And, I must confess, I buy items for the containers, too. Shhh, don't tell hubby!
