There is a very active quilt guild in Woodland Park-more than a hundred members. It meets on the fourth Friday at 1:00 to 4:00 at the Mountain View Methodist Church on Rampart Range Road. New people are always welcome. There is a significant contingent of members from the area west of Woodland Park such as Florisant, Lake George, Guffey, etc. There is also a quilt store, Nuts and Bolts, in Woodland Park. The guild has an annual quilt show in August and does a lot of charity work. Look them up on the internet-Quilter's Above the Clouds.
