I most often piece the backs of my quilts just because I like the secondary design. I use fabrics that I have used on the front in the design of the back. Sometimes I use extra blocks or just strips and squares. I like to choose simple designs and always press the seams open to ensure smoothness as I quilt. It is just a fun thing to do.
