PaperPrincess, I haven't thought of using hot pink thread. I will probably have to use white because the backing is pieced and appliqued (attaching picture - not sure why it popped in sideways .) I love your idea about using paper. You rock! I'll give that a try since I wanted it to be in my own handwriting.
