Besides The Cloth Shop in Vancouver, there is a Stitch and Bobbin in North Vancouver; Needle and I in New Westminster; Fabricana in Coquitlam (more of a general fabric store but has lots of quilt cotton and notions); A Great Notion in Langley. I really like Hamel's in Chilliwack, but probably out of the way for you.
