Great idea. I have one of the salad spinners too. I'm assuming you can do the same for when you go to starch your fabrics. I wonder how large a piece of fabric you can stuff into the salad spinner before it just won't do the trick?

I've been looking for one of those old fashioned wringer washers or just the wringer section to wring my larger fabrics out after I've starched them. I checked and they do have a towel wringer that you see at the auto shops but I'm not willing to put out that much money for one. They're quite expensive it seems.

Thanks for the video as I have some 5" and 2.5" fabrics I'll be starching in the near future. Have been hesitating starching them due to the fraying. Now I feel more confident with this method.
