I would like to make a full size quilt something like this.
It wasn't needle-turn, but I don't know what it's called. I took a class and the LQS taught this method. You use Templar template material, which is heat-resistant. Cut out your templates. You add the seam allowance to your fabric and using a small paintbrush, apply Magic Sizing to the seam allow. Then fold it onto the template and carefully press, using the side of the iron to fold the fabric edge over onto the template.

Clear as mud?! Thanks for all the comments! I would do the applique stem different if I did it again. But isn't that the case with all our quilts?
