I have a factory made walking foot that was made for my Bernina which I always use unless it is a mug rug and I am just too lazy to take off my 1/4" foot. I found the generics were cheaply made.
Perhaps that's my issue. Mine is a generic walking foot and not one specifically made for my machine.
