Linny, Apparently this steam boat was originally used as a transport boat for sheep but has been modified as a carrier for tourists up the lake. The inland lakes in NZ are fed by glacier water and the blue colour of the water is beautiful. The water in the lakes is also very cold and they were saying that if you fell in you would only survive for half an hour.
