Fabric shopping in Montgomery is hancocks, Joanns, hobby lobby, and kudzu quilt shop. I live in Selma about 45 min. West of Montgomery, but have to go to Montgomery to do all my fabric shopping as none in Selma. If you get near Tuscaloosa there is sew delightful quilt shop. Further south in Opp [Opportunity] Alabama there is a fantastic fabric shop, I forget the name but you can google it. When I went there I just stood inside the door while my jaw hit the floor, it was awesome. I don't think it is near interstate but well worth the side trip.
