Yes, I have made blocks for myself. I use my scraps to try out new patterns before I cut into someone else's fabric. I've done 4 blocks for me so far. They're in my Group Therapy album. That's how I decide what fabrics I'll use with my main fabric. I can see so much more looking at a picture than looking at the actual block. If I've made a mistake, it really glares in a picture.
