I was given my great aunts and it was exactly like that one. Mine was an All American #7 and it was given to my great aunt as a wedding present sometime in the 1930s.When it was full of jars and water it weighed a ton so 3 years ago DH insisted on replacing it with a new one (which I hate).I had only seen one other like it and it was in a small town museum. Pressure cookers don't explode unless they are used incorrectly.
