Thanks, every now and then I have the swing out at the end, but the main reason for the error is my seam guide moves, my machine is from the 50's and I tape a credit card to the plate and sometimes it shifts. I just need to check it more often.
I've seen where some people use a strip of blue painter's tape to make the seam line. I do it by eye but as I get older I am thinking I may need to do a strip of tape. partly because I have had to change machines and feet so I don't have my favorite foot on there now. It is harder for me to gauge the seam allowance on this machine.
