I've never used poly batting, but by mistake got a polyester backing and that did not stick either, though the cotton top did, so it wasn't the spray. Good luck! Let us know about the batting being the culprit!

Kitsie....no, the batting was polyester, as it was a just something I was playing around with. Hmmm....maybe I'll try it on a piece of cotton and see if it works better.
