I've gotten the book a couple of times from the library and enjoyed all the photos but just gave up on reading the instructions. Guess I'll have to give it another go, with determination.

I do understand cos when I first got the book I kept looking at the instructions and pictures - and glazing over - BUT when you actually have your fabric on the mat, pins, ruler and cutter to the ready, it does become clearer. I suppose I had the book over 2 months (of constantly peeking in it) before I "braved" cutting!
