There is also a lot of variation in what is meant by custom quilting. I think of it as quilting that is suited to the quilt, i.e. not a pantograph or all-over design, but within that definition it could still be very simple, loose quilting or dense and complex. The fact that the longarmer is new to the business doesn't necessarily mean that she is new to longarming or not proficient at it.
