Try a bridal shop. They often sell off last years dresses at a greatly discounted price. Very nice mother-of-the-bride dresses. Especially if you are between a size 10-12, as that is what they commonly stock for their 'try-on' inventory. I picked up some great cocktail dresses for around $100 each.
