I was fixing to say I have that exact cabinet, and the machine that came in it was my Nanny's. And much newer, from the 1950's or 60's.
At any rate it's a pretty machine, and as Lynnie said, it needs some tlc. As I'm not nearly as well versed in vintage machines as the others on here are, I can't say if it's a good deal or not.
Every time I hear that or say it, I think of my hubby's grandpa. He used to say, "I reckon it's worth it if someone is willing to, or wants it bad enough, to pay x amount of $$ for it". Good ole Grandpa.
