Why you must hold onto your Bobin thread
Okay, they say a picture is worth a thousand words so here is what a nest looks like. I have been quilting for almost 30 years and this is the worst nest of bobbin thread that has ever occurred. Funny, as I had been sewing the HSTs together into rows, the Aurifil thread broke suddenly so I just re-threaded my machine. I had assume that the bobbin thread hadn't broken which unfortunately it did too. But then almost immediately, the bobbin thread ran out. Weird circumstances so I am going to look for Jack the ripper and restitch.
