Wonderful quilt for a raffle! It is a perfect combination of piecing and applique and the scrappy quilt will appeal to everyone. I hope you raise lots of money for your guild. This is an interesting pattern to paper piece for sure. I don't know if she still does it; but, I took a class from Pepper Cory in which she taught this block using foundation piecing on a muslin base. It was done by hand and was a fun project to carry around.
