If you quilt for charities, which ones? Do you worry about where your quilts will end up? Thanks!
My hobbies give me a lot of joy. I usually gift the quilts, but do other sewing for the local animal shelter. Sometimes after a large project like a quilt, I will take a break from quilting, but may continue sewing smaller projects for instant gratification so to speak.
I do not worry too much about the quilts after I gift them, mostly because by the time I am finished with one (always at least a queen size), I am almost sick of it anyway. I am ready to break away to something else.

If you need to take a break from your hobby, then by all means do so. I don't think it is a good idea to push yourself if you really don't want to do it right now. You will return to it if and when you are ready.
