I haven't been too productive of late, but have been doing some "mindless" sewing using scrappy strips less than 1-1/2" wide. Not quite sure what the end project will be, but this is the first of the 7-inch reverse applique blocks I'll make:

And, haven't decided if black will be the background for future blocks.
