Thank you for the nice comments! If you are interested in making these types of landscapes, there is a terrific book called "Accidental Landscapes" by Karen Eckmeier. She explains several landscape techniques and how to make the wonky borders! No affiliation, I was inspired by her book back in 2008, and have been playing with this design style since then. I love that every landscape will be unique!
I did not realize that this was done with the Karen Eckmeier technique. Thanks for noting that information. I just finished one of her designs called By the Sea that is in the book Skinny Quilts and Table Runners. It looks like the ocean rolling into the shore. It was interesting to learn how she does this technique. I'll have to go check out her book. Thanks again for posting the photos and putting us on to where to find more information.
