Hi from Illinois, this is Lade "J"
I'm a newby here, but not to Sewing and Quilting. I consider myself to be an all around Crafter, dabbling in everything from A to Z. I'm so involved in my crafts that my kitchen is my Studio(I haven't cooked in over 25yrs).
Learning FMQ is at the top of my list now(I'm a cutter and piercer), because having to send out my quilt sandwiches is becoming quite expensive.
My my time is also spent making and donating Pillowcases to Children's Hospitals and Battered Women and Children's Shelters. Porcelain Dolls has been a favorite of mine, so for many, many years I have been making and selling them. In previous years have competed them in Modern Doll Competions.
My husband is an Entertainer, leader of his own band, "The Xpressions", so I am constantly making outfit's for his performances. I don't leave myself out "I have to look cute too" l often dress us in like fabrics, yes, even Pink.
I'm so happy to have discovered this Community.
