Yeah ! I tried...the first step at least!
I made something similar to Ricotta Cheese.
I found a couple of tutorial and without the rennet it looks it is the only thing I can produce. I think for you is called cottage cheese...we called it "primo-sale" in Italy. It is easier than I thought!!!

Now it is cooling down in the refrigerator.

Basically you warm up the milk than when it is warm you put some lemon juice and let it rest. After 10-15 min you can filter the cheese from its water...press a little bit...I will tell you about the taste.


No, I don't have any animals (milk animals...my cat doesn't count for this) I simply bought the milk at the supermarket. But if it comes out good and I found the rennet I will look for a farmer that can sell me the milk directly .

...I hope I can do mozzarella ...I miss mozzarella so much!!
