I like the quilt. If it were mine I would do a fairly narrow white border, a very narrow dark border, pinwheels in the colors and size of the body of the quilt and then reverse the dark and white borders. Bind in dark. Maybe even white, dark, white, pinwheels, white, dark, white and bind dark but not necessarily the same dark as in the borders.
