We lost my nephew a few years ago in a horrible car accident. Little Jake loved Halloween and his family did a haunted woods every year. Since Jake has been gone the family started a scholarship program in his memory. The community has been great. My sis and I were talking how many people could want to support the scholarship but would in no way want to run through the woods being chased by zombies and monsters (me for one
)
So this year I am making table runners, toppers, mug rugs (whatever all different sizes) to raffle off. Then people can support the cause for a few $$ without the scare. I have 16 tops done, but I just finished these 2. They are not perfect, but I am happy with them. Everyone I do I get a little better. I have some really cute fabric - its not all skulls
