When I make baby quilts, it is done out of love for the people and my love for quilting. How they use it is their choice. I figure I've had the fun of creating it and that's enough for me.
I too have heard of children suffocating in blankets and/or covers. Those of us that are a "certain age"
may have covered our children with a blanket or quilt while in their cribs. We were fortunate nothing bad happened. It's all a learning process.
