This was done on a Japanese clone. The featherweight's do have seam guide markings. A featherweight finish will turn cloudy if you use naphtha. If you use alcohol on a featherweight it will remove the finish. Naphtha cloud can be restored by following Glenn's method of refinishing the machine. This is only about removing the white first aid tape. Pure and simple but can take a while to get the white off the machine.
